Have you ever wanted to get more involved in the civic life of our town, but don’t know where to start? There are several elected seats opening up that don’t require a major time commitment. One of them may be a good fit for you.
The next Hopkinton town election is in May, 2024. The HDTC can assist you with all aspects of running for office, and can let you know if someone else has already expressed an interest in any of these seats. If you are interested, please contact the HDTC Chair immediately because candidates will start pulling nomination papers on January 16.
Commissioner of Trust Funds
This is a three member committee with one seat open. The committee meets once per month.
Cemetery Commissioner
This is a three member committee with two seats open. One incumbent is expected to run for reelection. The committee meets once per month.
Constable
Hopkinton has three elected constables. One seat is open. Constables do not meet together on a regular basis.
